Simloc and Juan Velarde renew their collaboration agreement

Simloc, and Juan Velarde, elite aerobatic pilot and leader of Team Velarde26, have renewed their collaboration agreement for the 2020 season for which Velarde continues to be Simloc's ambassador nationally and internationally and will participate in multiple activities of the company.

As most relevant elements, the agreement includes the coordination of both parties to spread the entire calendar of aeronautical events of Juan Velarde in media and social networks; to participate in air shows and events directly related to Simloc and show off their image in talks, conferences and interviews.

In parallel, given his status as airline captain, Velarde will advise Simloc on relevant issues to flight simulation such as the UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training), which is recurring for commercial pilots.

Acuerdo Patrocinio TeamVelarde26 y Simloc

The relationship between Simloc and Team Velarde26 began in 2017, when Velarde participated in the Red Bull Air Race as the only Spanish pilot. At that time, the simulator manufacturer developed exclusively for that championship a unique Competition Flight Analysis Software, called AVC-SR, which allowed Velarde, among other things, to have a space-time study on the layout of the race, design ideal paths before the flight training prior to the competition and accelerate the dump of the results for later analysis.

"Given the world class category of Juan Velarde as aerobatic and sports pilot, his extensive experience as airline captain and his personal worth, Simloc cannot count on a better ambassador," says Carlos Pérez, CEO of the company. "I am sure that with Juan advise we will improve the quality of our simulation services and that the extension of this agreement will be very sucessful for both parties."

On the other hand, Juan Velarde declares to be delighted to renew the collaboration with Simloc, "a company with international projection", he says. "We have been working together for more than three years and its flight simulation and analysis software has become an essential tool, which has allowed us to reach a very high technical level in the races of the Red Bull Air Race," continues the pilot. "In addition, I am very happy to be able to contribute with my experience, both as a line pilot in Iberia and as an aerobatic flight pilot, to assist in the training of other pilots in the field of safety and prevention of flight abnormalities."

During 2020 Juan Velarde will make around 15 air shows in different parts of Spain. look at the calendar here
